Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she will cover everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. As the daughter of two NASA astronauts, Kristin has a background in the industry of space. She worked for the past five years covering the Biden and Trump Space policies of the administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. Kristin also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump and the 2020 presidential election and the efforts of two administrations to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Kristin worked her way through the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before being hired by the network. She was awarded the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as a CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. With her experience in front of the camera Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014, which was a specialist in documentary style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds an Bachelor in Science in Journalism, which she obtained from Boston University. She and her husband, who is three years old, daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
